Samantha Jwanouskos
LPC Associate
with Wright Wellness since 2026
Hi there, I'm Samantha Jwanouskos, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate.
I graduated from East Texas A&M University with a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During my time there, I provided counseling services to students on campus and discovered a passion for working with older adolescents and young adults navigating identity development, ambiguous loss and grief, and relational trauma.
My therapeutic approach is primarily humanistic, though I also integrate DBT, CBT, and IFS depending on each client's individual needs. I recognize that therapy can be a vulnerable space, and I strive to meet clients where they are rather than where they feel expected to be. Above all, I value the therapeutic relationship and believe that being trauma-informed begins with creating an environment that feels genuinely safe and authentic.
As your counselor, my goal is to help you better understand yourself and your experiences while providing a space where vulnerability can become a strength rather than something to fear. Together, we can explore different aspects of your identity and identify what may help you move forward. I value a collaborative approach to therapy that emphasizes both personal growth and the strengths you already possess.
Outside of therapy, you can usually find me reading, spending time with my cat, or staying active outdoors!
