LPC Supervisor

In my LPC supervision, I like to weave in Internal Family Systems (IFS) in a way that feels supportive, collaborative, and-most importantly-human. Because let's be honest, most of us already have a very loud "Am I doing this right?" part... supervision doesn't need to make it louder.

Instead of focusing only on techniques or trying to be the "perfect therapist," I invite supervisees to slow down and notice what's happening inside. Maybe there's a part that's doubting everything, one that's trying really hard to impress, or one that just wants to hide under a blanket after a tough session. All parts are welcome-we just get curious about them instead of judging them (even the dramatic ones).

I try to model that same curiosity and compassion in our work together, helping supervisees connect with their own grounded, steady "Self" energy-the part of them that can stay calm, clear, and present... even when a session goes sideways or a client says something unexpected.

Over time, this approach tends to build not just stronger clinical skills, but also more confidence, authenticity, and a little more self-trust. My goal is to support both your professional growth and your actual, real-life human growth-so you can show up more fully for your clients and not completely abandon yourself in the process.
