I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas and a 200-hour registered yoga teacher. I completed my Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2013. Since then, I've helped people process their traumas, understand their anxiety, and manage their depression. I also have experience helping others with relationship issues, parenting concerns, and self-esteem/body-image issues. Through a person-centered and non-judgmental approach, I believe you have the power to help yourself reach your goals and be your healthiest.

I started practicing yoga in 2014, and noticed quickly how yoga helped ease my personal anxiety and depression. Yoga made me generally feel good about myself, and helped me with my own negative body image. It was then that I knew I was destined to teach yoga in some capacity, and I started dreaming of combining what I know about mental health with my passion for yoga. I completed my yoga teacher training in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2016. I love combining yoga principles such as deep breathing, meditation, and mindfulness into my therapeutic approaches. I believe overall wellness includes the whole body. I love to teach gentle and restorative yoga to those who are new to the practice, and love to encourage my students to see what their bodies are capable of in a power flow. Whatever your goals are, I believe I can help you achieve it through therapy, yoga, or a combination of the two.
